Customer at the Heart of the Journey was an interactive iPad training course created to help MTR Crossrail staff prepare for the launch of the Elizabeth Line. My role focused on the art direction, character design and visual design, creating a bright, engaging experience that combined animated characters, scenario-based storytelling and an intuitive interface to make the training feel approachable and enjoyable. Using Adobe Character Animator alongside adapted illustration assets, I developed a cohesive visual style that brought warmth, humour and personality to the experience while keeping the content clear and easy to navigate. The characters proved so popular they were later transformed into life-sized cardboard cut-outs for staff events and featured in a full-page advertisement in the Metro newspaper. Watch a video here of my colleagues talking about it.
