A mobile-first onboarding concept for KFC, designed to make essential information feel more engaging, accessible and visually distinctive for new starters. My role focused on the art direction and visual design of the experience, creating a bold, playful interface inspired by social media patterns, short-form content and KFC’s brand personality. I developed the overall look and feel, helping shape an experience that felt lively, intuitive and built for a digital-first audience.
The project needed to move away from the feel of traditional onboarding materials and instead create something visually engaging, fast-paced and unmistakably KFC. Working within an existing creative concept, my challenge was to translate the idea into a cohesive visual experience that felt fresh, characterful and easy to navigate on mobile.
I designed the interface and visual system around bite-sized content, bold layouts and a playful cast of characters that helped guide users through the experience. As part of the creative process, I also explored AI image-generation tools to help develop some of the character artwork, combining AI-assisted imagery with art direction, interface design and brand styling to create a consistent and engaging visual world.
